Warped Tour 2008

I'm planning on going for the July 26th show at Nassau Coliseum.

I'm really interested in seeing Reel Big Fish, MC Chris, Oreskaband, and YOUR MOM.

Anyone else planning to go to the show that is in YOUR area? HMMMM????

RBF, MC Chris, and Japanese Ska Band are enough reason for me to go. It'll be a good chance to pick up t-shirts and avoid buying awesome, but RIAA-published CDs.

Reel Big Fish is ALWAYS a hoot live. Well, they are when Kloepfenstein's not sick. MC Chris is, likewise. Ore Ska Band is an all-female, Japanese ska band. Engrish heaven.

I should be hitting the Buffalo Warped Tour in July. Bands I want to see:

Against Me!
Bouncing Souls
Horrorpops
MC Chris
Pennywise
RBF
Street Dogs

Too bad Rise Against and the Vandals won't be playing the show in Buffalo

I've never heard Oreskaband but they sound cool. I'll be sure to not miss them.

yes i know there's a few solid bands in the lineup, but for the most part it's a complete shit hole.

Sheesh, thats a really sorry list of bands.

Out of the entire list of bands I like: Bedouin Soundclash, (some) Dillinger Escape Plan, Reel Big Fish (but they can be seen almost anywhere, every 4 months), and The Vandals.

Ive not heard any of the recent Vandals, so I have no idea if the lineup is any different or if they are even any good anymore.

"Punk" is in one sorry state right now.
