id Tech 5 is pretty awesome, btw...I wish people would have held off on UE3 because I am afraid that they will choose to stay that course.

  2. If Doom 3 = Doom 1, pls let Doom 4 = Doom 2.

  3. I didn't care about this franchise at all until Doom3, which ruled all with an iron fist. It ended up being one of my favorite games of all time.

I don't see part 4 being released before 2010 though.

I don't understand how anyone enjoyed Doom 3. Monsters spawning in already cleared areas is not scary. It is annoying.

  5. Pussy. I guess you've never played Nightmare mode.

More of the same with like 1 new weapon and a couple new bad guys?

I'm hoping they rethink this from the ground up, personally.

  7. Will the 360 version of Doom 4 come with a patch that allows the Xbox Doom 3 and Resurrection load in less than a week?

    If not, no sale.

I was thinking more of Hell on Earth.

  9. Oh, storyline. lol.

  10. I loved Doom 3. Fucking brilliant played in the dark with some good headphones or a nice sound system, especially the first time out.

Oh, so there were scripted events? In a game? Noooooo.

I hope Doom 4 loses the ceiling and gets you in some urban (Earth) environments.
