I didn't care about this franchise at all until Doom3, which ruled all with an iron fist. It ended up being one of my favorite games of all time.

I don't see part 4 being released before 2010 though.

I don't understand how anyone enjoyed Doom 3. Monsters spawning in already cleared areas is not scary. It is annoying.

I loved Doom 3. Fucking brilliant played in the dark with some good headphones or a nice sound system, especially the first time out.

Oh, so there were scripted events? In a game? Noooooo.

I hope Doom 4 loses the ceiling and gets you in some urban (Earth) environments.
