Really? Cause you posted it twice.
I'm moving on the 31st. I have 12 hours to do it. Doc Holiday might be helping me?
I'm not looking forward to it so much.
Really? Cause you posted it twice.

I move my room around every couple months.
I can only imagine the joy of actually moving it all into a new place.
And if you're friends don't want to help you, is that really a shock? Do you really expect them to care enough to help you move out?
The answer to the former is no, the latter an emphatic yes.
Please tell me you're moving out of Long Island, haoh!
If you're moving off of the island, TAKE ME WITH YOU. PLEASE.
Moving sucks. Everything Haoh says is absolutely true.
We had movers move all the furniture and all my friends moved everything else. The first trip took packed a cargo van, one Civic and 6 SUVs. And I still had to do 4 more van runs after. I mean, we have a lot of crap, but even the non-game crap was more than I anticipated.
With setting up deliveries and installations, you have to take days off, period. It sucks but there is no way around it these days.
ALWAYS reconfirm with anyone coming they have the right address. If I didn't do this, our new furniture would have been delivered to our old place 30 miles away.
Wrap stuff in paper towels. Softer and you can stuff them all in a bag and reuse them over time. We haven't had a single breakage that we've seen yet.
My next move will be off of Long Island (in ~ 8 years). For now, I'm still here. :/
I have moved so many times due to my dad being in the military while I was growing up. We moved overseas twice and countless times in the states. This last move was the worst because it was my first move with my own stuff and I didn't realize how much shit I had in my one bedroom apartment.
Arizona isn't to bad, not sure if I will be making this my final spot though, the northwest seems to be pretty nice.
