    Yeah, Rosetta Stone was a disappointment. The NES III was better. I actually bought the FC version at a flea market yesterday along with Namco Star Wars and Getsu Fuu Maa Den.

  4. What about Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight?

    Actually, I think that doesn't really fit this thread. Just Capcom slapping "Street Fighter" and "Final Fight" onto anything.

    I didn't even think of Double Dragon 2, but cheebs is right. And the PC Engine version was flawed, but it kicked a whole lot of ass.

    The NES Dragon's lair. Obviously a whole new game.

    Then there's the portables. The Gameboy TMNT was sort of a Kung Fu Master-type game.

    GB battletoads was re-made from the NES original.

    I think GB Double Dragon I/II were re-branded Kunio games or something.

    Game Gear Double Dragon was just straight-up bizzare with hand guns and all-new characters.

    Lynx Rampage was all-new.

    Ditto for Lynx California Games (same events, new look, feel, control).

    So true. PC Engine DD2 was awesome, and the NES one was much better than the arcade. The Genesis got a port of the arcade one, but it sucked much balls.

    I know people hate on NES III, but I loved ir and by any measure it was a billion times better than the mess the arcade/genesis game was.
    Oh god, DD3 in the arcades and Genesis was horrible. The NES version rocked.
