Thread: Something I'm Proud of

  1. RIP Dave Wendys.

  2. He must be disappointed in what his once mighty franchise has become.

  3. #33
The one in Crofton has a sign up that says "TRY OUR FISH 2DAY" or something like that.

    Its scary.

  4. I can still take you

to the movies and the ice cream parlor.

Nice job photoshopping yourself onto someone's website, btw

Nah, not Penn State. But I did wrestle competitively for a good 12 years or so. I'm a coach now.

We need a "real" TNL Fight Club.

Awesome. Knowing what I know now about fighting, I would've been in every wrestling program I could've been growing up.

Also, I can flying triangle and bust out some flashy sacrifice throws...

But my single and double leg takedowns are pretty horrible.

  7. Heh, my problem is I've never trained to throw a punch. I'm sure my flailing fists of fury would look less than graceful, and maybe a little girlie.

But once I'm in arm's reach, game on/over.

But am I tripping or did you used to live in Stae College or attend Penn Sate or something? Anyhow, you wrestled in one of our nation's premier wrestling areas and a guy with your background is likely to be quite different (ie: hecka better) than say a wrestler out of California.

I'm a bit like Nemo except my standup game is more limited. I got all kinds of stuff to do on the ground but my takedowns, especially shots, are fucking WEAK. I'll be starting judo tonight at Seattle Dojo which is the United States first and oldest judo dojo. It was established somewhere after 1902 and before 1907. I hear the warmup begins with about 400 bodyweight squats. Oh boy...
