This thread is awesome.

I've been experimenting with chip tune stuff for a while now. Most recently I've been playing with the gameboy camera's audio program, and live looping it in ableton. Some of the stuff sounds pretty cool.

I've been trying to marry nes tracks to dubstep for the last few weeks, with mixed results. When I get home from the pub I'll upload a few.

It's really quite great for making loops.

On a related note, back when we were younger, arjue and I would hook our GB Camera up to our parent's big fuck-off stereo, and let it rip. Some of the high freq's really, really hurt your ears. Good times.

Favorite chip tunes band overall: Crystal Castles. It's a mix of chip, dance, and electronica. The two members are assholes and music thieves, but, fuck, their stuff is unbeatable.
