Indeed, great job to have on days like today.

  2. There's also a desk labeled Attitude Control. Not altitude... attitude. Wonder what that entails.

Good job to have as well.

Let's hope the spaceship doesn't get too excited and crash in a fiery ball upon its return. Good job on the landing, though.

  5. I wish I had paid more attention to this story earlier on; I'm not too clear on its mission. I know that it will be digging into the ice beneath, though. But I'm especially curious as to whether or not they will be looking for organic compounds in the ice... you know, "life on Mars" shit.

  6. that's exactly what they're looking for, they're gonna burn surface dirt (and later on, permafrost-layer ice) in an onboard oven to search for the chemical markers of organic life

oh, and hello mars north pole

edit: here's the one they tried to crop ET out of

Awesome. Perhaps Martian life will be genetically superior.

I like these initial images. Can't wait for the colored ones.

  9. Doubt martian "life" would be genetically superior.

    See our buildings, planes, etc

    See Mars

Unless those martians have a serious superbase underground or if we discover the Nazi's really did build a base there, those devious uber-bastards.

It was a reference to GTA4 (and cka's subtitle).

Besides, there is a theory that we are all, in fact, Martian.
