    Setting Up a UPnP Server

ok. I'm giving up on the smb sharing idea, it just won't work.

Option #2 setting up a upnp server on my mac. I've googled things, but I don't understand. Anyone have any tips or pointers?

I'd be asking the same questions if I was running XP, twinkletoes.

Setting up the shares on my xp laptop and browsing for them with the xbox produced the same result.

So, I suppose you could replace the word "Mac" with "Computer" if it would make you feel better. Or fuck off.
