Ah, that would cause problems, then.

Keep me in pretend-land, please. It was probably just muddy waters.

hehe, I tried that as well. All fecal matter stopped on our floor and decided to exit into my moms apartment. It was x-mas, and the residents above had eaten well. Shit rose meterhigh from the lavatory. It was like a babylon tower of shit. I was wearing a gasmask and my hair and body was soaked in feces. I gave up and the authorities later sealed off the area as a "health zone". When you walked on the wooden floor it moved like the ocean, due to the insane amounts of waste under it. It even broke through the outer wall of the building and formed the now legendary piss-icetap. People ventured from far just to oogle it.

Yeah, it wasn't that bad at my place.

  5. When I was in high school, my parents' basement flooded and my comic books got ruined.
I filed Wizard near-mint value for all of them and got hundreds of dollars for about $70 worth of comics.
I also got new ac adapters for all my consoles, and the old ones still worked after they dried out.

No, i don't even think I took it apart, but I rotated the way the stuff was laid out, a couple times the first day so no water could pool up in the corner of a cart or the console. I also didn't try using them until I was sure they were bone dry to make it less likely of shorting something.

I had been worried about rust or corrosion, but that was like 4 years ago, and everything still works.

This is exactly what happened at our place. You really just can't think about the fact that it was piss and shit water. The roommate who had the bedroom in the basement really got fucked.

Have you tried any of your other systems yet? I can't imagine the Vectrex monitor making it, nor any of the disc systems. But, good luck.
That's a really shitty thing to happen to your consoles.

Thanks, I'll try rotating and moving them about a bit. I won't turn them on for at least another week. The longer I wait, the better chance of them working. I'll report back when I test them out.
