Need help selecting an external HD

I stick to Seagate or Western Digital. No hard drive is ever safe though, always keep a backup. Buy 2 externals if you have to.

I can't recall where I saw this deal at, but I've seen a 1TB WD external drive selling for $150.

Fry's has the 500GB for $99.
