My current service in 5M_2M, so I don't know if they're just raising the minimum speed, or this is some kind of sales pitch.

They've also sent an email about the triple pack savings (phone, cable, internet), though I'm pretty sure I've already got that.

Make sure you call and find out. I got fucked for over a year when I had DSL years ago. I had a business deal and was charged one rate. Verizon nationally upped new customers and charged them less. My service was not even on their pricing tier anymore. So I was paying more for less speed for over a year because I had no idea until they showed a commercial on TV one day. They said they weren't going to grandfather my higher price and refund me but you bet your ass they did in the end.

My wife called them and they knocked off $70 from the bill. They're also going to double the speed for the same price I was paying for 5m/2m.
