  2. That looks delicious! I should make that soon, I miss that specific set of food textures. Slightly tacky dumplings are the best thing.

Indeed. I can get you the recipe if you'd like. It's more of a sweeter sauce than what you're probably used to.

As is usually the case for any soup (or chili).

  5. So I've been experimenting with something I'm calling Red Eye Pork Chop. Make a spice blend of coffee grinds ground super fine, garlic powder, onion powder, cayanne pepper, a shot of Jack Daniels, and olive oil. Rub the paste on a double cut pork chop and grill over a super hot fire to medium.

Meanwhile get a skillet over high heat and add 1 oz bacon fat, 1 oz red wine vinegar, 3 oz coke, a dash of garlic powder and a big pinch of salt. Reduce by about half and add a pinch of flour. Whisk until glossy and syrupy.

Serve the chop with grilled asparagus and creamy grits.

It's fucking amazing. Should be our the menu soon.
    Boo, Hiss.

  6. TNL mobile won't let me edit that last sentence.

  7. Ever had green chorizo? So good!

  8. Sounds damn good, icarus. If I ever find myself going up to NC I really want to check your place out.

So, can I substitute the coffee with cocoa, and the olive oil with corn oil, and call it the Brown Eye Special?

  10. I've been cooking lately but the same old stuff. I have some chicken breasts I am going to cook either tonight or tomorrow night, any suggestions on how to cook it?
