Thread Prefix?

I'm trying to post an add in trade depot, but everytime I click submit, I get the message:

The following errors occurred with your submission:

1. You must select a thread prefix.

What the fuck is this? Could someone help me out?

The prefixes are there in a drop-down menu when you are composing the thread. They are directly to the left of where you type in the title. The most generic one is "Info."

edit: here's some fun inaccurate stats, because a majority of users either just use the default skin or use the skin chooser at the bottom of the page (which sets the style in the users' cookie) :
