    Also...

45 milllion on Roy Williams? Jesus christ.
Drew Bledsoe played with a broken pinky and took the Patriots to the AFC championship game. Of coarse the Pats let Brady play the next week and the rest is history.

Roy Williams is worth every penny of that. He was the number 2 receiver in 2006, with over 1,300 all purpose yards; Just imagine what he'll put up with a good team.

  2. Roy Williams will be a beast WR for Dallas, no doubt. He's only 26 with at least 5 more years of solid productivity left.

I don't know enough about the Cowboys franchise to talk about Jerry Jones, but this foxsports.com article basically rips him a new one.

He's a New York writer, so this article comes with little surprise.

Jerry Jones left the decision in the NFL's hands and to suspend Jones would have made things worse than it already was. Jones broke his agreement with Rodger Goodell, more than Jerry Jones.

  4. Was watching Mike and Mike this morning and saw this, i pulled this off the ESPN website:

"On Wednesday, Dallas television station WFAA reported police are now raising questions about an officer's report of the Jones scuffle. The department's command staff believes the officer intentionally omitted key details in his report -- including the name of the troubled Cowboys cornerback.

Dallas police commanders are worried because -- according to a memo to Chief David Kunkle -- the "vagueness" of the report could "cast doubt on his [the officer] and the department's credibility," WFAA reported."

I really liked what Chris Carter had to say about the Pac Man myself...

  6. It sounds like Dallas is preparing to not have any more Adam Jones this season.

"He's gone," Phillips said. "I'm not saying what's going to happen in the future because I don't know what's going to happen in the future or what is or isn't going to be done there. I've got to go with the players I have."

Jerry Jones said he didn't suspend the cornerback because he didn't violate any terms of his deal with the team. But Goodell said Adam Jones again ran afoul of the NFL's personal conduct policy.

"We felt like he would be here, and that's not the case," Phillips said.

  7. Pacman shit all over Jones' generosity, fuck that filth.

  8. Pacman let his ghosts catch up to him. Gobble gobble.

  9. Seriously, just ban him from the NFL already.

If the guy is so crazy that he can't even keep from fighting the bodyguards who are trying to keep him out of trouble, then I don't think he's ever going to change his attitude, regardless of what his press statements say.

What a week for the Cowboys.

And the crazy thing is, TO wasn't even involved in any of this mess.
