I'm pretty sure there's some kind of option to disable that, stormy. Also, make a playlist out of them.

This is a great recommendation, I agree with it big time. Anyone who listens needs to check out the favorites.

  5. Are 1Up podcasts still available or did they die, too?

They're still doing Retronauts, and 1up Yours will continue in some form under a different name and with only Garnett & John Davidson staying on from the old crew. The last episode of 1up Yours was pretty incredible, actually. 3 hours long, and Luke Smith came back for one last show and they actually broke down and started crying at one point, it was pretty real.

Rebel FM is a bunch of former 1up people doing their own independent show. I listened to the first episode, it wasn't bad even though they were stuck with crummy equipment. But they also had Shane on as a guest, who makes anything entertaining. Don't know how it holds up without him.

  7. Geekbox (Ryan Scott's podcast) is much better than RebelFM. I've subscribed to both in iTunes, though.

  8. Started listening to the http://www.maximumfun.org/ podcasts, particularly The Sound of Young America and Jordan, Jesse Go. Fan-tastic.

  9. I've lost interest in Podcasts lately and haven't been listening. A lot of them have been year end stuff and stuff about EGM dieing, which I don't care about. They've also been quiet on my iPod too lately for some reason.

Another gaming podcast that has been recommended is Giant Bombcast.
You don't have to be smart; you don't have to know the facts, you just have to be confident.
