Sorry to hear man, all my grandparents are still alive but a couple of my great grandparents died semi-recently and despite the fact that they were really old and died the way you expect people to die, it was still a shame. Unfortunately my mothers dad is starting to have his health decline (and he's only in his early 60's) and my dad's Hep-C is starting to catch up to him.
