So lemme get this stright. Haoh said the other day if the Isles don't get a new arena they might go to KC? Isn't that what happened with the Penns a couple years ago? I do recall them needing a new arena, and somebody wanting to relocate them to KC. The guy had the money up front but the league did everything they could to make sure Mario could leave the team in Pittsburgh for a lower price. Then our governor steps in an loads a bunch of dough for the new arena. So why doesn't the league seem interested in helping the Isles?

Here comes the Devils ego train. I'm really, really upset with this loss, as is Sutter and probably everyone else in the organization.

Earlier this year the Devils weren't letting up against shit teams, and it was a big difference from last year. Here we are again. This cannot continue.

So I mean, this brings us to the Penguins. I think they can and will be dangerous. They still have two of the top 5 players in the sport on the team, and that's scary. Just like Washington was scary (but didn't get it done) last year. Their goalie can get hot if he can stay healthy. Guerin's got a lot left and I think his presence in the locker room is going to help out that team a lot. They're heating up again, too. I agree, Crosby is a wah wah crybaby distraction, and he shouldn't wear a letter period, but they'll get over it and he'll buckle down and they're going to play good hockey. They're below where they ought to be in the standings, they should be a 5 seed, and they'll probably hit that mark as Montreal continues to fuck itself in the ass. I don't know anything about the D-man they picked up. I don't care. We all thought they'd be worse than last year, and they are, but I still wouldn't want them as a first round opponent.

Pretty good assessment. Its pretty much up to Fleury if we go places or not. Our defense isn't great and he'd have to be standing on his head ala game 5 of last year's Stanley Cup for us to go deep into the playoffs. Having Guerin in the lockeroom will be just as important as having him on the ice. We'll have to see if he and Kunitz gel with our no. one bitch or not, but we have options in our lines now.
