What Rush said doesn't even offend me. I get some schadenfraude out of his situation considering how pitiful his apology was ("I sunk down to their level!")

But I think people who talk on the radio for a living should basically be allowed to say what they want. Obama getting involved made me think less of him.

MSNBC in the past 6-7 years has been nothing but a knock-off of Fox News. CNN is a confused child that does not know what the Hell it needs to be. Don Lemon and Larry King are the only reputable members of that organization that I'd be sad to see let go.

The right's argument that there is a double standard is also kind of retarded.

Ed Schultz was suspended without pay and had to do a 10 minute apology, Letterman had to do an 8 minute apology, Bill Maher lost a ton of sponsors and Comedy Central chose not to renew his show. Advertisers will fuck you, regardless of your political affiliation.

So your claim is that that is equal? Keep in mind most of the Rush shit storm was after the apology.

Fair enough. I have no dispute with the view that cable news is fucked up in general.
