Thread: Election Thread 2016

  1. I don't believe that you vote for a man you know will not be allowed to continue to serve for educated reasons. They didn't think Stevens would do things for him, since he's going to jail. They turned out to vote for Sarah and went down the party line.

Coattails are nothing new to presidential election years.

  2. You might've seen this on Digg already, but...

5 Reasons Sarah Palin Would Lose a 2012 Presidential Bid

    summary plz version:
    1. other people are better
    2. can't debate
    3. first-timer
    4. lost to Obama already
    5. too much baggage

btw Stevens' opponent is currently ahead by 800 votes

    ultimate showdown

  3. Palin's coming back with a vengeance in 2012, for better or worse. Four years is an eternity in politics. She's going to get herself familiar with national politics, remake her image (less focus on social issues, more focus on economics and reform), and get the nomination. Whether she wins or not is more up to Obama than her; if Obama has an awful first term, Palin wins. If Obama does a decent job, he'll get re-elected.

  4. Palin should just stop talking. Until 2010.

  9. Such a tasteless thing to say about a great American patriot.

Anyone else this might be funny, but I get the sad feeling you're serious.
