Trump's going to win. I'm not sure what can be done about it. Sanders is too busy Nader'ing Clinton's shot for either to beat the lunatic external threat.

How so? Only one of them will be on the ballot in November.

I don't think he has enough juice to beat her, but I do think he's going to draw support away for an extended amount of time.

Ideally, if we weren't locked into a two-party system in this country we'd have Trump and Sanders out as Third and Fourth parties instead of muddying their respective pools. As it is, we've got the rightwing nut and the leftwing nut both messing with the center in a really odd way.

I don't really consider Sanders a democrat, he's a rather insulated Vermont independent. He hasn't really sat at the grownups table before.

the reality tv generation made trump. Cable and satellite tv subscribers made trump. Fox news and CNN made trump. News as entertainment made trump. Lowest common denominator made trump. Corporate America made trump. Focusing on quarterly earnings, made trump.

He probably will be the next president. The only question is if there a good person hiding under all that trolling bullshit or the next hitler. If its a good person, things may get a lot better as he shocks both parties into doing the right thing before they can connive and argue and waste time doing nothing worth a shit. If he's the next Hitler, well, we know how that ends.
