If they think it'll help get O-bah-MA outta office you can bet they'll show up to vote. Most on the right would rather write in "potted plant" instead of let Obama get 4 more years.

Amen to this, although I cannot fathom why anyone would support Obama after his first four years. Hell, I just got a notification to expect my health insurance to go up again next year. So the only possible impact Obamacare will have on me is that the quality or access will get worse. Add that to continuing the stupid bailouts, and he's a nonstarter.

edit: In terms of the Ryan pick, not every candidate picks a VP for election reasons. I'd say Ryan was picked much more for after the election, although he will make Biden look like he has no business holding any office should they debate.

I didn't click the link. Are we talking about Romney's tax returns, or is it just something that fits your statement equally well?

    Obama's College Grades
Quick zephyrs blow, vexing daft Jim.

Yep. That makes every bit as much difference as Romney's tax returns.

  6. The Obama campaign is trying to paint Romney as a rich out of touch plutocrat who wants to be President so he can funnel money to his friends by gutting middle class services. The idea that Romney barely paid taxes for the past 10 years plays right into that.

I can't think of any campaign strategy that Romney could undertake that would be bolstered by a college transcript from the 1980s.

Romney has more than enough ammo to wage a good campaign without resorting to far right wing nonsense.

  7. It's pretty fucking childish.

We wanna know your tax returns. Then why not tell us your college grades.

Next will they start a Your Mom joke debate?

I don't care what Obama wants to do with it. It's a meaningless piece of information in terms of the guy's ability to be President. No one, not even Reid's fantasies, is accusing him of tax evasion, which is the only way it would be pertinent. I know Obama's campaign has to be about dishonesty and personal attacks, since his record and policies wouldn't get him a vote from anyone who holds a job, but it's really stretching things when a guy who has millions without ever having a real job is accusing anyone of being out of touch.

  9. An Obama-Romney dozens would be awesome.

Now that I clicked the link, it's one guy who is not associated with the Romney campaign. I don't understand how this is relevant. Obama almost certainly had no business being at Columbia, so who cares what he did once he was there?
