No, but I have an excellent credit history. The bank is constantly wanting to throw money at me, and I don't make jack shit in income (relatively speaking) but I've got a great credit rating. My mortgage is 3% APR, not variable IIRC.

Yeah I generally agree with that. At any rate, they were much to fast to integrate that wide.

One of the goals of the EU was stability and peace in a heavily fragmented region though. After WW2 those countries had peace.
