Ok, not an Aussie band, but fucking rad none the less. In this song, this NZ experimental punk band channel the spirit of Devo something hard.
Opinions pls. I wrote off Bright Eyes a long time ago, just didn't like his albums at all (but did like the Desaparecidos album). However this song Devil Town is really awesome. It's a remake of a Daniel Johnston song. So tell me who is more responsible for this awesomeness, Bright Eyes or Daniel Johnston? Should I give a newer Bright Eyes album a try? My current opinion of them is whiney folksy garbage, but it's open to changing i suppose.

Ok, I'm fairly confident it's just the awesomeness of Daniel Johnston, but I think Bright Eyes did an excellent job on the arrangement.

I used to LOATHE Bright Eyes, but oddly enough my wife got me to give them a second chance, and I like em just fine. He's definitely got a hard on for Elliott Smith, but his musics not half bad. As long as he's not doing the intentionally forced & warbly Billlllllllllllllboooooooooo of the Shiiiiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrre bullshit with his voice, I'm just fine with him.
