Okay.
I have backed up all my data from itunes onto multiple DVD's, multiple times. Sadly, when I wiped my PC and went to put the latest set back on, 2 of the 8 DVD's are b0rked. Hence, my only option is taking the files off the apple tv.
I have:
Opened said appletv and removed the HD.
Attached the HD to a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter and attached that to a USB adapter.
Thus far, things look good, and the PC knows the drive is there (under Disk Managment).
However, since the HD has a GPT Protective Partition I can't give it a letter nor access it. Everything I've found on the internets about removing that GPT Partition = data gone.
Anyone know anything about getting the data off sans wipe?
NM, I think I may have solved it.
Rstudio can access the files, though at 80, it's not cheap.
Time to think.
