I find it necessary to clarify that I don't feel that being willing to indulge your curiosity and view such images means condoning or supporting what's happening in them. As I said, that kitten video stuck with me and I found myself compelled because I thought it couldn't be real, and sure enough...

And I didn't mean that I thought you were faking it, I mean that for me to pretend that it disgusts me that anyone would voluntarily view these images would be a lie. Life, death, extreme fetishes and so forth can be quite fascinating, I think, and I don't find anything "juvenile" about that at all.

Everyone has personal boundaries with what they will and will not watch, but I don't see the reason for attacks and talking down to people, that's all.

I find it extremely dificult to give a fuck about anybody that isn't my family or friend. Seriously shit happens whether you want it to or not.

It's really hard for me to feel sorry/empathetic/sympathetic towards gangsta's, cops, soldiers. They knew what the risks where when they chose their job/life-style. Look out for your own, basic human instinct.

Now that shit/piss/vomit stuff I can't handle. I watched 2 girls 1 cup up to where she squated over the cup and dropped the first deuce and I was done.

Oh, and stop snitchin' 'cause you know damn well it's none of your business.

I don't see how the person knowing the risk of their job/lifestyle has ANYthing to do with whether or not it's hard to watch their gruesome torture.

I don't understand the draw to these things. Being discriminating in your thinking is a good thing. Opening the flood gates to everything is a bad thing. Many times it takes more thought and strength to say no than okay.

Thankfully I haven't seen anything too bad, because I make a point not to. If I ever saw animal cruelty or something like AG posted, I would just die inside. I think it would damage my psyche.

Yes you will but after a while you will probably realize there is nothing or was nothing you could have done and it's part of life (sick people out there). It won't bug you that much anymore after a while.

Another one that kinda bugs me is the russian skinheads ones just randomly beat up colored people in subways or on the street and record it. Usually it's like 5-6 vs 1. It's not guru or anything but it just bugs me the coward way of that.
