  1. Chu Chu Rocket is on sale for $2.99. I'm pretty impressed with it, although the swipe controls take a minute or two to get use to. Pretty awesome.

    You actually paid full price for an iPhone game? I think Castlevania may literally be the only one I've bitten on since I've gotten past the "new and shiny" phase a couple summers ago.

    This is the first I've heard of Imperial Academy, but that's an instant purchase for me. I love the Imperial side of Star Wars, and there just isn't enough focus there in gaming, despite the magic that is TIE Fighter.

    Yeah, I got Rage also. It's... hmmm. Well it's gorgeous. Best looking iOS game so far. But it's really simple without many levels and not much to the game. I wouldn't really recommend it aside from the wow that is pretty factor.

    Wow that is pretty is worth $2. Plus, I want any exposure I can get to that universe, since that's the definition of a Day One game in 2011/12.

  9. If you dig score run light gun games at all, Rage is worth the $2. There's a ton of stuff to grab during your runs so the potential for improving scores is huge. I got Mushi BP, but have yet to try it out.

  10. I'm finding that ZenBound is a surprisingly fun time waster. It's sort of like artist hell, with animal shapes.
