I do not deny that at all, though a lot has changed since then on both sides of the fence.

A lot of it is down to AMD and Nvidia not bothering to optimize OSX drivers, which could change if the platform gets bigger for gaming, but Apple needs to get their act together as well, which they've never seemed too interested in.
Maybe with the popularity of iOS gaming, and Tim Cook now being in charge, they might start taking it more seriously, but I wouldn't count on it.
It is somewhat fascinating how well Apple has done with gaming completely by accident. I never considered that the CEO change might actually help in that area. I also doubt it, but it's certainly possible.
I'm glad there are retards subsidizing us.
I regularly do in app purchases, for level packs and such. Check that attitude, bitch.
Which games?
Tower Defense games, mostly. Sentinel 3 is the only one that is coming to mind at the moment. I also bought all the lenses in Hipstamatic.
If I paid $.99 for a game in the first place, I don't mind buying IAP that adds almost as much content as the original app. I really don't mind monetarily rewarding a small dev that made something that I really enjoy. This goes of extra levels and shit. If you make your game basically unfinishable without buying IAP items or some other shit then you can eat a dick. I check that shit out before I even buy an app, if it looks like that will be the case, there will be no purchase.
BTW, Monsters Ate my Condo is super fun. It is a really great puzzle game with a really nice visual style and gameplay systemm $.99.
