    "If you like your current plan, you can keep it." Who's dishonest? And, again, bring me the equivalent to that 10% you quoted when it comes to the rate increase for next year.

  7. I don't care about scoring points, I just want to see people get health insurance. If people lose a crappy, expensive plan and get a better, cheaper one, good.

    Those are regarding the losses. Consistent with his typical transparency, Obama won't release the enrollment numbers, but several states have shown pitiful ones.

    What is your beef here?

    Are you objecting to the fact that a portion of the 14 million Americans who purchase their own insurance will not be able to literally purchase the exact same policy they bought pre-ACA?

    It is true that some people will not be able to literally purchase the same policy they bought previously, because insurance companies can no longer exclude pre-existing conditions. So this will naturally affect people who purchase non-ACA-compliant health plans. But did you even read Eric Stern's Salon article that Diff linked?

It might cover things that they don’t need, but so does every insurance policy.
