It depends on the role you think we should play on the global stage. The use of banned weapons against civilians is about as bad as it gets though, so if that doesn't cross your threshold, you'd have to be a big time isolationist.
Of course not. But someone should have assassinated all of the key ISIS players very early on. Whether that was literally us or an ally is immaterial. ISIS isn't sovereign in any way, shape, or form. The only way to beat them is to eradicate them like vermin.
Israel wouldn't be the bad guy right now if they had assassinated the heads of Hamas some time ago. Something tells me that's not this easy thing to go do.
