I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT INFLATION IN THIS SERIES OF POSTS. There, that being said, I was simply responding that under a socialized health care plan doctors will still get paid. Simple as that. I don't give a shit about the long term economic implications. I don't give a shit if it is meaningless/worthless as that's immaterial to what I said.
Good that you had hardworking caring parents. Too bad they still churned out a bitter angry douchebag. When I was young, my parents both worked at Sears, and we had a tiny apartment. What the fuck is this "as good as you" assumption bullshit? The fact that my dad busted his ass to eventually become an executive doesn't change the fact that I attended public high schools, a public university, and have earned every cent I have ever made on my own. And my daughter will do the same. My parents invested time in me. They didn't have as much money.
Hell, my student loans just got paid off a couple year ago. So take your silver spoon bull and eat shit with it.
Your parents didn't rape/beat/abandon you. You were wise enough to not get hooked on drugs. You never had an unplanned pregnancy. I'm gonna assume your daughter came out healthy and has stayed healthy. You haven't lost your legs/hands/half your brain in a drunk driver accident. Gonna go out on a limb and guess that to a large degree your life has turned out exactly as planned. You've worked hard and gotten a lot. Hats to you. It doesn't however diminish how much of an asshole your attitudes make you. The fact that you can't realize how good you have it and are such a shitty dick to those that haven't had it as good as you is plain sad.
Protip: Even a small apartment is better than millions of folks have, even more so if we talk globally. Don't be blinded by your bitterness.
I never advocated a blank check payment plan.
It wouldn't be a blank check plan. It would be a "Do an appendectomy, get paid "X" dollars". Unless I'm not understanding your posts correctly. That being said, just like Treasury Bonds (hopefully) the government will maintain a 0% default rating if we switch to a social medicine program.

It sounds like you are advocating one. In a perfect plan, a doctor could charge a fair price for a visit, and get that exact price. But there isn't a single US government plan that works that way right now. The government pays $50 for an $80 visit. They pay 1.20 for a 25$ shot. They will refuse to pay for certain things, like pain killers on Sunday so a man can make it until Friday for his dentist appointment to get an abscess in his jaw removed.
sure, I guess you are right, Doctors will get paid. But not what their time is worth.
And there is no way that will not have a negative impact on care.
Do you bother to read the other posts in this thread? I already said that parents have more to do with success than formal education. The rest of your bullshit is meaningless. What are the odds of being hit by a drunk driver? 1/1,000,000? You don't make plans based on those kind of odds. That's like budgeting based on winning the lottery. If you get hooked on drugs, you get what you deserve. Same with an unplanned pregnancy. If you aren't prepared to care for the child, then take better precautions. For the 10,000th time, it's all about personal responsibility. One of the reasons my daughter was born (mostly) healthy is that my wife ate right, didn't drink, etc. while she was pregnant. She took responsibility. And my daughter was born with an intestinal malrotation that required invasive surgery and required her to be in the hospital for a couple weeks when she was about 6 months old. And the combination of the insurance I pay for and out of pocket expense paid the thousands and thousands of dollars that cost, because I took responsibility to have insurance and to pay the remaining bill, even when my family wasn't so fortunate, you fucking prick.
shit just got real
Yeah, it's a shame she won't be a blame everyone else entitlement liberal.
