If anything, the people with no "skin in the game" are the 70 year old fucks living in Section 8 housing, collecting Social Security and having Medicare pay for everything. They're the ones who vote en masse. The real people with "skin in the game" are the young people who are going to be living with the consequences of these wars, bailouts and tax cuts for years to come.

I'd separate the "70 year old fucks" into those who funded the Social Security and Medicare they now collect and those that didn't. Those that didn't fall into the category that have no business voting, just like the young people who don't pay taxes. If I'm buying you dinner, I don't give a fuck what you want to eat.

Blame companies and stubborn Republicans who wanted Insurance companies to have free reign over the business. And yeah, you can say I'm speaking out of my ass but the voting history doesn't lie. Then they finally pushed through a health care bill so watered down it's almost worthless and people STILL complain. Republicans have turned from a healthy governing party to a party of crybabies who will shut down government if they don't get their way and the party in control goes along with something anyway they just cry "UNDEMOCRATIC!" I'm only 26 but I've been following this shit since Clinton took office.
