  2. I think we all need to stopping pointing figures at politicians over the economy. We're supposed to be a (mostly) free market system. The government should have very little to do with economic shifts and the economy in general.

    Honestly, the market shouldn't be tampered with and that's exactly what the government is doing now.

    Exactly. You can't just point the finger at Clinton (who deserves his share of the blame) and conveniently forget that Republicans held Congress for12 years and the White House for the past 8.

  7. Meh, whatever. The only reason the government is involved with the economy is because the American public is basically a bunch of wimpering pussies who can't deal with hardship. The market should not be tampered with and left to it's own devices. We're not an unstable third world country where our economy needs a kickstart to even mean anything.

    Scream about the government until things go wrong and then scream for the government, that's exactly what the bail-out is and it will cause far more damage than recovery in the future.

    No, I was the one getting pissed off because I'm surrounded by a bunch of cowards and imbeciles. That's what the bailout revolves around, cowardice. Most Americans appear as if they cannot deal with hardship and equate to losing their Lexus with starving to death in a gutter.
