    Saying that a doctor should get paid a lot doesn't mean the alternative is free. I'm just saying that it doesn't bother me that they make 120k-150k a year.

    I don't know what the alternative would be under a socialized system. Maybe 60k-80k? Maybe 90k? Maybe they'll even cap it? I don't really know what the alternative would be. Different countries have different approaches.

    All I'm saying is that I don't have a problem with doctors and other care givers making a lot of money. Shit, its your health. If people shouldn't make a lot of money by taking care of the health of people, what should they make a lot of money doing? Law? Hedge funds? Business managers? How is that shit worth so much more than someone that helps old ladies and saves lives?

    Tell me why the guy that looks in your ass for cancer shouldn't make lots of money, but some asshole that is in charge of all the walmarts in a county should.

    I would liken it to someone who eats at a restaurant but cannot pay, and is forced to wash dishes to satisfy the debt. If someone cannot pay the doctor in cash money, they should be forced to pay in trade. Maybe the reception area needs to be remodeled, or the bedpans need to be cleaned or something.

    I'm not talking salary, I'm talking about someone receiving a service that costs a set amount and that person willingly not paying for it, or someone else being forced to pay on their behalf. I don't care if it happens one time or every time. Looting is looting regardless of frequency.

  10. Oh it is a powerful lesson for sure. But not in the way you think at all. It's a perverted view of humanity that values selfishness as the greatest ideal. And the fact that you're one of those people who actually thinks shit like that is something to be held up as an ideal says everything there is to say about you
