The point? The point is that there are heavy regulations on guns already. Obama wasn't even taking anything away, really. Background checks I think are fine (upon initial purchase). But really they aren't working—not in the way you think will make school safer for children or whatever shit the argument is from the lefties.

1. Has the total death toll been given. And how many were maimed, have destroyed bodies, and will forever be changed because of the bomb blast? Are you going to go up to the lady that had her legs blasted off and tell her "well at least you weren't shot"
2. These events are still outliers and it is shameful that someone with your education would want to change US legislation over an outlier.
3. I don't care. I don't want to see the US change because of outliers that could just as easily be replaced by bombings or other methods of murder. So we only think it is 3 deaths because of this bombing. How many people die each year in mass bombings vs mass shootings?
