lol, GameFAQs is amazing. As of today, sales threads are banned from the Vita boards. Sony fanboys had grown so increasingly butthurt over the Vita's consistently poor retail showing, instead of simply ignoring the weekly sales thread -- which did nothing but post factual numbers -- they'd regularly blow it up three hundred posts of frantic damage control and spin, get ridiculed into oblivion, then finally cry to the mods that "numbers are trolling, facts are trolling, reality is trolling." After months of this happening every week, the mods finally agreed! So goodbye any topic that discusses sales. They are immediately deleted.

I can't be the only one annoyed by Media-Create discussion. As far as I'm concerned, gamers micro-managing hardware sales every single week (aside from product launch weeks) may as well be trolling.

I get the point that Vita isn't selling, and of course, that fact alone is worth talking about. Still, generally speaking, there are far too many trivial factors (confined to one country/region) that could influence the week's sales for a product that is meant to last on the market for at least half an decade. The weekly sales data could be useful for a seasonal discussion, but it isn't really worth belabouring every single week.
