4:3 on an LCD TV

I'm surprised to hear about all these burn in issues. I thought it was mainly just plasma and older LCDs. For those who have had burn in problems with LCDs, how old are they? I thought all this burn in crap with LCDs was supposed to be fixed pretty much.

I refuse to watch SDTV stretched out. I tried out MGS on PSOne, just to see what it would look like, and even stretched out, there was still like an inch of black area.

So long as your 4:3 viewing isn't 99% of the time, it shouldn't matter.

As long as you alternate your SD and HD watching, the burn in issue is relatively non-existent in LCD's.
