I wasn't aware any Netflix movie/show with an available dub has the subbed version. Every time I've poked into an anime or whatever it's always been the dubbed version.
So a little while ago Netflix decided to lump all the seasons of any given series together. And somehow applies a single star rating to the whole shebang. This is irritating for a couple reasons:
1. Makes it more difficult to determine which seasons you have/haven't seen. Before, you could tell at a queue glance because unwatched seasons weren't rated yet. Now you have to enter the detailed page and check the "last rented" field to ascertain where you left off.
2. As noted above, applies a single star rating to all the seasons of an entire show (by averaging all seasons? by taking your most recent rating? I don't know). Scrubs was a great show overall, but season 7 sucked pretty hard. Like 2-star territory. I'm pretty sure there were a couple others that were 4 star. I take umbrage at Netflix slathering the whole thing with a 5-star rating ostensibly by my own hand! In a few years when I might want to re-watch some of these shows, I'm not going to remember which were the weaker seasons safe to skip.
On the other hand, I guess it cleans up people's instant watch queues. And allows you to add all seasons from a single location.
