Been watching Futurama. 13 episodes in, it's better than I remember. A lot to hate, though.

Peg Bundy tries her darndest to ruin the whole show. Why they had to cast that annoying bitch I will never know. The Jamaican guy and the Asian girl are worthless, which apparently the writers realize since they're ignored for entire episodes. Zoidberg is only marginally better. Bender's kleptomania is not funny or charming, and his forced "bite my shiny metal ass" catchphrase feels about as fresh as "eat my shorts."

But Fry, The Professor, and especially Zap Brannigan make up for all that.

I watched the first half of the first episode of Spider Man Unlimited cuz I liked how his suit seemed to be modelled after Spidey 2099. Holy garbage balls. Wasn't this a kind of recent series? The animation seemed to be on par with the CDi zeldas and Spidey Sega CD.
So this is an anti-recommendation.
Have any Marvel properties ever had a decent cartoon series? Fuck the face of anyone who mentions 90s X-Men.

That more recent X-Men series was ok, the WB one? Don't know about that Wolverine show... ; Spectacular Spider-Man is fun to look at, can't speak to the dialog. None of it can touch Batman TAS though.
