I was never that into Thief during the series' heyday, but I think I'm excited for this.
Also, I'm guessing not next gen after all based on those shots.

It's supposed to be for next gen. I'm guessing started this gen and got moved.

It looks fine, if a bit too bright. The way I see it, stealth games still haven't topped Thief 2 so I'm easy to impress in that regard.
The real trick will be making sure that this is an honest to god stealth game. I want my massive, nonlinear levels. And leaning, dammit.
edit: This has been confirmed for next gen, release in 2014.

It's not like it looks BAD, but it doesn't look like anything you couldn't do on a PS3. People don't want to buy new systems to play games that look the same.

The big reason I'm happy it's a next gen game is that the new consoles have a lot more RAM so it'll be easier to create the ridiculously big levels from the first two games.
