Eh if you wanna go way way way back I can bring up Babe Ruth for a bag of balls and money to fund a retarded off-Broadway play, but I'm trying to be recent and separate the management teams.

That trade was completely atrocious though.

  2. For me, the best trades have been:

Yankees in 1992 get Paul O'Neill from Cincinnati for Roberto Kelly

Yankees in 1995 get David Cone from Toronto for three minor league pitchers that never win a game in the big leagues

Yankees in 1995 get Tino Martinez and Jeff Nelson from the Mariners for Sterling Hitchcock and Russ Davis

Bulls in 1987 get Scottie Pippen from the Supersonics for Olden Polynice

    Worst Trade

Yankees trade away Ted Lilly for Jeff Weaver

You have no idea how much of a pissed off 12 year old I was when that trade happened. Paul was my favorite player from when I first started following baseball until that day.

  4. I'm worried that I'll have a new worst trade by the end of the week.
