He sells Wiis, right? Has he stopped selling those?
I would not say Skyrim and Fallout New Vegas are turds. It is the publishers duty to make sure the product they are releasing to the public isnt broken by bugs. I dont want to see them go out of business. That is the end result of your "voting with dollars".

Go into one of the cabins by the lake.
And to answer your other question, yes. For example, we dont carry action replay because it is horrible with its defect rate. We can return them, so no loss on our end, and kids come in for them all the fucking time. But money is only 99.9% of everything
As far as games go, i certainly try to forewarn a customer before they buy a shit game if they ask about it. But you have to do so tactfully and not be an ass about it. There was a guy who worked at one our stores who was friends with the owner. He quite literally drove that store to the point where it had to closed because he acted in real life the way you act on these boards. He would berate customers for not buying the right version (he was an xbox fanboy) or spending money on a franchise like Madden. But since he was a buddy, the owner just chalked it up to being in a crap part of town. We moved out, another game store moved in and has been doing well for a few years now.
There's always a guy like that in stores, and they don't last very long. When I worked at EB, one of the first things my boss told me was that Madden customers pay my salary.
It stinks that what some people seem to remember most about games like Elder Scrolls and Fall Outs are the couple of times a character walked through a wall and they had to reload a save from 2 minutes before, or a crash happened and they had to load a save from 5 minutes before, or a dragon flew away backwards. Instead of the 100+ other hours they put into the game where they were impressed with the wealth of choices in things to do and how to do them.
