Thread: What Are You Playing? (May)

  1. #101
    Fuck.

  2. Play it on Trainee difficulty, it is largely the same experience with less frustration on the boss fights. And you can still get the hardest difficulty achievement if you restart right before the end of level with hardest difficulty....

    lol

  4. Just started Wolverine. So far it's okay but I can't figure out how to do the flashing claw kills on command. Sometimes they flash when I grab a guy, sometimes when I block an attack at the right time. It's also difficult for my brain to remember the different commands for diving out of the way and lunging at somebody. Also some of the cinemas are great looking while others look like an N64 game.

Shit. I forgot about Wolverine. I should have rented that instead. Maybe I'll go back and trade.

  6. Do it, I loved Wolverine while I was playing it.

  7. One thing I just found out that bugged me. You press the bumpers to lunge but you have to press them in the correct order. If you're pressing LB then RB it won't work, but pressing it the other way does. I just though it was weird considering that's the only function those buttons have. The recycled enemies are worse than a 16-bit beat 'em up.

  8. Started up The Darkness. Overall way too slow of a game for me. If I finsh it I'll have to force myself to.

Grab the guy and press strong attack, when his hand flashes, press it again. You'll have it down pat in no time.

I rented this on PS3 (trophy whore ahoy!) and beat it will all trophies save for beating it on hard and maxing out the reflexes. I got all the upgrades and dog tags though!

My good mood lasted only a short while. My wife went to the store to return it, and I asked her to bring me something new to play. She rented Terminator: Salvation.

  10. I finally got around to getting GTA4 and I got say pretty good stuff. The lack of checkpoints can get really frustrating on the longer missions. But far and away my favorite GTA all things considered.
