Thread: What Are You Playing? (May)

  1. I got Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires, not Samurai Warriors Empires.

  2. I've been waging an inquisition on my PS1 and PS2 libraries, playing games I haven't touched in ages (or at all), and throwing the ones that fail to captivate into a To Sell pile that's beginning to outgrow my closet. Silpheed, Tomba!, Blowout, Gungriffon Blaze, CastleVania : Lament of Innocence and Onimusha 2 are games I never should've owned in the first place, much less dragged from home to new home over the years.

I got to Devil May Cry last Friday and have been playing it ever since. This game just does so much right and so little wrong.

  3. KOF SW2E is way better than DW.

And yeah grave you call all the shots.

  4. Still trudging through Unreal 2. This game is too boring to complete within six years.

Also, I've been replaying Thief 3. I can't quite bear the Cradle this time through.

He didn't call the Crimson Tears Is Unplayable shot. No, that is one shot that he certainly did not call. The calling of that shot was not his whatsoever. Grave's, that is. Nope.

  9. Ninja Gaiden - NES - I got to level 6-3 yesterday, and the boss killed me, which sent me all the way back to level 6-1. That was totally irritating, but I kept playing anyways because the gameplay mechanics are so damn addictive. Can anybody tell me why the NES Ninja Gaiden Trilogy has addictive as hell gameplay (its something about the way the game controls), yet they couldn't quite capture the same addictiveness with the new games?

Yes. Japan went to shit during the last generation.
