Squeaky Analog

I recently bought a PS2 controller, and whenever I'm using the left analog in the upper region, it squeaks... I have never had this with my 3 other controllers... anyway, my question is, do I just bring it back to the store, or is there a simpler solution I can do? Thanks in advance.

My friend had something similar happen. Nothing was really wrong with it but it was kinda of annoying. I'm not sure if the store will replace it but we lived with it and it eventually sqeeked itself away

Same thing happened to one of the Xbox S-Controllers my friend owns. He owns 4 S-controllers, but just one started to make that squeeky noise... Weird.

if you still have the receipt and its within the store's return policy.....return it.
