They would make it back five times over for their trouble, I don't imagine that that's a big deterrent.
Yes, but that would reduce their big pile of money.
I like that.
look here, upon a sig graveyard.
Lookin' good!
It was good, but not as good as the first. It felt oddly very restrained and more like a typical superhero movie for the first half before finally getting to the same batshit-insane level of the original near the end. The pacing was off and overall it just wasn't as funny. It just felt like there were a lot of missed opportunities.
That said, Ryan Reynolds was great as usual, Josh Brolin was really good as Cable, but the chick playing Domino was fucking amazing. Firefist (Deadpool's kid sidekick) was pretty lame, and one of the big mistakes of the movie is that it spent zero time on developing any kind of relationship between the two, so it made little sense when Deadpool suddenly cared about him for no reason and was hell-bent on saving his life.
The end credit sequences were seriously amazing, and frankly if the entire movie was at THAT level it would have been the greatest ever. As it was, Deadpool 2 was a decent movie, but overall I thought it was a bit of a letdown compared to the original (which I loved).
I dunno.
