U.F.C. for 360/PS3

Bought this today, and let me say early nominee for sports GOTY. The pacing is perfect, the damage is awesome, and it has a shitload of current and legendary dudes.

Career mode is the shit, you start with limited skills and train your way up the ladder.

Have not tried online yet, but I'm going to kick netwurked's face off later!

For example;

I started a career as a light heavyweight 6'1 205 with a kickboxing/judo background. Fight one I won by armbar. Fight two was at UFC22 or whatever, I upset a guy with a knockout froma full mount. Fight 3 I win by flash ko from a clinch knee strike to the dome. Now I'm getting rep, I get a new sparring partner and a new sponsor and shit is all good. I go into a match in the next PPV and managed to get my shit rear naked choked in less than 3 minutes. Oh well, time to hit boot camp and pick up some moves from Rampage.

Emulating boxing is one thing, but to translate the complexity of MMA into a video game, I thought it wouldn't be good. I was wrong. I just may have to buy this game along with Fight Night Round 4.

They did a fantastic job, granted I'm no Nemo and never intend to do this shit for real, so my experience is getting rolled by a 15 year old blue belt.

I heard the online was laggy but the single player is awesome.

People are pretty mixed on the ground game, too.

Overall though, impressions seem to be pretty positive.
