Yeah, considering all that they've done CORRECTLY in regards to multiplayer, the lack of matchmaking and drop in, drop out matches is puzzling.
Still love the mode though.
The matchmaking is really bad. You basically can't play that mode if your friends aren't on, which is retarded.

You know there's a second disc with all the multiplayer stuff -- maps, modes, etc. This isn't a "Making Of" documentary, and the usual b.s. that may get ignored when when sees the obligatory second disc tucked under the "real" game. Now I'm not saying that someone could have the game for a couple of days, play through co-op on Legendary, go through some rounds of Firefight, and sort wonder in the back of one's mind about rumors of new maps, modes, Achievements and such, and sort of wonder how Bungie left out what is probably the most popular aspect of the franchise.
