Zenimax buys Id Software

id's probably not making much money now, so sell while the price is high. id Tech 5 not coming out until next year (I guess) has hurt their chances of licensing unless it has crazy legs (which is possible).

Still, though, I love id, one of my top 5 companies out there.

Quake Wars underwhelming sales probably didn't help them either. They're probably making bullshit money off the mobile market though.
