Thread: 360 HDD Question

  1. 360 HDD Question

I finally got around to getting a 360 HDD, got the 20 gig unit since I don't need a giant hard drive. But when I hooked it up to my 360 the console only claims I have 13.9 free gigs. There's nothing on the hard drive so what gives? Are all used Gamestop HDDs like this? I want my missing 6 gigs.

Yes, you do. You're going to regret it.

The system uses the six gigs. You only have access to that 13.9 gigs. It's like that for all of them.

  4. Yeah, them's the breaks, I opened my 60 gig and it only had like 53gigs free right out of the box.

I would suggest you splurge on THIS

For my 6 or 7 XBox games? I don't do XBLA or media on my 360. All I need is a giant memory card. Bummer that they don't actually market it correctly and make it a 26 gig HDD in actuality so you get the advertised storage. Oh well. The HD was purchased with a Christmas gift card so what evs.

  7. ITT Bojack has never bought a hard drive for ANYTHING before.

  8. All I need is a giant memory card
If only there was some kind of "flashy" drive that one could use for such a thing!

  9. The problem with that is it'd only go to 16 gigabytes as Major Nelson told Steven and I directly in Boston!

Shit, it was a good idea to get that 13.9 HDD he got.

  10. Now i just want to know how much he spent on a LOL20GBDRIVE, ya know since a 16gb flash drive is $20 and you can get a 120/250gb HDD on ebay for like $50 nowadays.
