Thread: Dreamcast in 480p via component or HDMI?

  1. Maybe you should read up on the difference between RGB and Component and then figure out if you still want to ask that question.

  2. Even if your tv does support rgb, it won't work with the DC rgb signal because the DC outputs a separate sync signal.
    Any tv that accepts rgb through the component inputs requires what is known as sync on green, or SoG.
    The PS2 is capable of outputting SoG, but no other consoles are.

  3. My television has the PC input and the DC VGA box doesn't work with it. I've heard that it has something to do with the signal frequency.

    This guy has the same model television (smaller screen) and he's getting the same message I did.

  5. I have this.

    It works fine with my IBM monitor from 2002. I'll probably try it with just the short cable and see if that works.
